ACTION:
Notice of seminar series presentation.
SUMMARY:
The South Atlantic Fishery Management Council (Council) will host a presentation on working waterfront infrastructure in Georgia via webinar.
DATES:
The webinar presentation will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
The Council will host a presentation from Georgia Southern University on working waterfronts in Georgia. The presentation will describe available fishing infrastructure in Georgia and the industry members utilizing that infrastructure. Information for the project was collected through a census of historic and current industry infrastructure, case studies, spatial analysis, a survey of seafood industry participants, and in-depth interviews. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation. Members of the public will have the opportunity to participate in the discussion. The presentation is for informational purposes only and no management actions will be taken.
