The evaluation is designed to provide a systematic and up-to-date look at the implementation of NPD-supported activities among the programs' 91 current grantees as well as a representative sample of pre-service and in-service educators who participated in NPD-supported activities. The surveys will collect information on NPD grantees' goals, strategies used to meet those goals, changes made to teacher education programs, and challenges and successes page 61941 in promoting educator capacity to serve ELs.
