ACTION:
Notice of a public meeting.
SUMMARY:
The North Pacific Fishery Management Council (Council) Groundfish Plan Team will hold a two day meeting.
DATES:
The meeting will be begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday January 11, 2017, and end at 5 p.m. on Thursday January 12, 2017, to view the agenda see SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION .

The Joint Groundfish Plan Team will provide recommendations on NPFMC stock prioritization results specifically on the following: (a) Evaluate the results of the prioritization process applied to North Pacific g roundfish, (b) develop a proposal for how to use those results to support planning, (c) discuss any recommended changes from status quo and whether those changes are supported/justified, and (d) discuss the implications and where assessments may occur at lower frequency, discuss potential interim actions to support management.
