Notice of Open Meeting of the Environmental Financial Advisory Board (EFAB)

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

SUMMARY:

The United States Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Environmental FinancialAdvisory Board (EFAB) will hold a meeting on March 8-9, 2011. EFAB is an EPAadvisory committee chartered under the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA) to provide advice andrecommendations to EPA on creative approaches to funding environmental programs, projects, andactivities.

The purpose of the meeting is to hear from informed speakers on environmental financeissues, proposed legislation, Agency priorities and to discuss progress with work projects underEFAB's current Strategic Action Agenda.

Environmental Finance topics expected to be discussed include: Financing Clean Air Technology;Voluntary Environmental Improvement Bonds (VEIB)/Property AssessedClean Energy (PACE) Financing Environmental Improvements; Financing Infrastructure for TribalCommunities; and Leveraging Private Investments to Create Sustainable Communities.

The meeting is open to the public, however, seating is limited. All members of the public who wishto attend the meeting should register in advance, no later than Monday, February 28, 2011.

Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 1:30 p.m.-5 p.m.and Wednesday, March 9, 2011 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
