This is a Notice of the Presidential declaration of a major disaster for Public Assistance Only for the State of Louisiana (FEMA-1786-DR), dated 09/02/2008.
Incident: Hurricane Gustav.
Incident Period: 09/01/2008 and continuing.
Effective Date: 09/02/2008.
Physical Loan Application Deadline Date: 11/03/2008.
Economic Injury (EIDL) Loan Application Deadline Date: 06/02/2009.

Notice is hereby given that as a result of the President's major disaster declaration on 09/02/2008, Private Non-Profit organizations that provide essential services of governmental nature may file disaster loan applications at the address listed above or other locally announced locations.
The following areas have been determined to be adversely affected by the disaster:

Acadia, Allen, Ascension, Assumption, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Cameron, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Evangeline, Iberia, Iberville, Jefferson, Jefferson Davis, Lafayette, Lafourche,Livingston, Orleans, Plaquemines, Pointe Coupee, Rapides, Sabine, Saint Bernard, Saint Charles,Saint James, Saint Landry, Saint Martin, Saint Mary, St John The Baptist, Terrebonne, Vermilion, Vernon, West Baton Rouge, West Feliciana.
Contiguous Parishes/Counties (Economic Injury Loans Only):
Louisiana: Calcasieu, Catahoula, Concordia, De Soto, Grant, La Salle, Natchitoches, Saint Helena, Saint Tammany, Tangipahoa.
Mississippi: Amite, Wilkinson.
